Bar Soaps

At Soaps and Scents, we’ve been making soap the old fashioned way for over 20 years. It all starts with a blend of saponified olive, coconut, and palm kernel oils. To that, we add our shea butter, essential/ fragrance oils, and natural colorants.

After the soap is mixed, it’s time to pour our soap into the log molds. We begin pouring with the base color, adding as many different colors/ aromas as the particular recipe calls for. A long skewer is used to swirl the colors in the soap. This will create the one-of-a-kind designs on each individual bar.

Our soap log molds are custom made, which results in a bar that we find to be not-too-big and not-too-small; the absolute perfect size for hand holding, really.
